Press on Nails..for Sale?

Hello Hi what’s up!

Today isn’t really going to be a review more so just me sharing information on a project I’m trying to work on. I’ve been super into the idea of designing nails. More specifically designing press on nails. I know there are about a million different sellers on etsy, etc who already do such thing but this is something I’m interested in because I highly enjoy doing my own nails.

For the past couple months I’ve been trying to do better at doing my own nails; gel and acrylic. Right now I’m more so in a gel kick but I’m no way ready to try on someone nor qualified.

Clearly I’m not a nail technician but I want to learn more about doing nails. So I’ve started doing practice runs on sets of false nails to start toning up my skills and I just wanted to share with you guys what I’ve created!

This is the first pair. I need to work on blending the colors better because with a flash you can see more where one stops and the other begins.

These are the beetlejuice inspired ones. I’m digging the look except for the green foil. It looked a lot more green than yellow in the pan so a little disappointed in it. I’m also trying to experiment with more colors.

Anyways! I’m liking this new venture I’m traveling down!

I hope you guys stick around while I try to improve!

  1. I have been making my own press ons for a while now, as I got sick of my nails being in such disrepair after getting them done at salons. I like those gel tabs to adhere mine, or nail guards with glue. Anyways, I had a friend suggest I should put them up on etsy too. It seems like a lot of work to open a sore there, and then figuring out shipping, making a brand, getting your business number from the government. I think I am going to try to just get some friends to help buy supplies, make them some, and do a small testing phase. Will help with practice too.

Looks like you are having fun. I think it is definitely something you could pursue.

    1. Thank you! I agree on the whole etsy thing. I’m unsure if it may be the place for me in the long run but Ive thought similarly about making a few sets for friends to try to really see how well I can do and if they enjoy them.
